I like to think of therapy as a place where people can become their true selves. A place where people can share their experiences and hardships without judgment. Life didn’t come with a handbook and sometimes we need help in figuring things out. M. Scott Peck said it best, “Life is difficult.” We go to doctors when we are in need of physical treatment, so it is important for us to hold our mental health to the same standards. Stress is a part of life, whether it be good or bad. Having someone to help you through this journey can be helpful in many ways. I am looking forward to working with children, teens, adults, LGBTQ; basically anyone who is willing to try out therapy. It takes courage to tackle your problems head on and I admire anyone who does.
A little about me…I have 2 adorable cats and my favorite holiday is Halloween. My favorite food is pizza and my favorite quote in therapy is, “Don’t believe everything you think.”
