Tracy Swartz, originally from Edinboro Pennsylvania, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She received her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Edinboro University and earned her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. For the past 17 years, Tracy has worked in the field of mental health serving children, adolescents, families and adults. She started her work in 1997 in a group home and shelter setting for children. Later, her career path led her into a non-profit community mental health agency. Tracy has a passion for her work and held several positions inside her profession. Her primary role has been as a therapist working with children and families.
Through Tracy’s diverse counseling experiences, she has been equipped to understand individual and family dynamics. She has a passion for developing a helping relationship while supporting others to create change in their lives. Tracy is well-versed in Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Divorce, Grief/Loss, Mood Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Parenting issues, Self-Esteem and Self Improvement. She is trained in family systems techniques, CBT, Client Centered strength based therapy and employs an individualized approach to counseling. With a commitment to on-going continuing education and training she is confident that she can treatment needs. She is firm in her belief that everyone holds the potential for growth, change and the capacity to obtain hope and happiness. In addition to Tracy’s passion for helping others, she finds joy in her family and cherishes her role as a wife and mother. She also enjoys gardening, taking walks, and spending time with friends.
